...give me your answer do' - the song apparently written for Daisy Grenville, Countess of Warwick (1861-1938).

Travelled back to my flat in Edinburgh today after a few days of convalescence in Peebles. Lovely to see the countryside and hear all the birds again. Everything is looking very lush and green.

The sun did finally appear today, although for much of the time it was dull and rainy. Think we could be in for more of that tomorrow!
