Grey and cold … again

According to the weather forecast we could expect a cloudy morning and a sunny afternoon.  However, it remained cloudy and grey all day with a brief minute or so of sunshine just after 6pm, by which time we were on our way to the Oamaru Opera House to see “Tutus on Tour” by the Royal New Zealand Ballet.  The programme featured excerpts from Swan Lake in the first half, and more modern choreography in the second half.  We had a drink before the performance and it was a most enjoyable evening.

S the tiler arrived in the morning to clean the tiles in the entrance and do one or two little finishing touches.  Now that the tiling is all done I need to concentrate on getting the man cave painted so the chap who’s going to repair the carpet in the lounge where the fireplace was removed and also lay the vinyl in the man cave can come and get those two tasks done.

The blip today is the new light fitting in our bedroom, which also shows the colour the walls have been painted.
