Sunset over Bangkok.   

Today involved an early start to hit the temples.  We went all out on the buddhas, Emerald, Reclining and Gold.   It's roasting hot and the sweat pours out of you.  Karen was blessed and flagellated by a monk.  We took a ferry across the Chao Praya to Wat Pho or Wat Arun or who knows Wat.   

We were back at the hotel around 2pm after a harem scarem tuk tuk journey.  I had a shower, intending to go to the rooftop pool but fell asleep.  

We went to the hotel bar for happy hour, then took a taxi to Chinatown.  A pricy drink in a pitch black bar was followed by a walk round trying to decide where/what to eat before we took another tuk tuk back to the market near our hotel where we finally agreed on what to eat.  Home by 1am-ish.
