Whole

In case anyone was concerned yesterday about the gaping hole in the roof where the chimney stack used to be, here is what it looked like at close of play today. All thanks to the skills of Pete, John and Tommy. And amazingly it didn’t rain overnight.

Tomorrow the other stack comes down, and we shall have another gaping hole, though they will probably get some at least of it rebuilt by the end of the day. Then next week, if the weather is kind to us (a big if given the rainfall so far this year), the roof comes off and is replaced.
