Blocked...

...up window...

This has been a bit of a head scratcher.  It's an old factory building that was converted into flats and this is the only window that has been blocked up.  My client wants to split one big bedroom into two but in order to do so we need to open up the window.  The engineer has been out and can't see any reason why it can't be opened up but unfortunately we won't know for sure until the builder gets stuck in!  He thinks it has been blocked up while it was still a factory rather than when converted to flats.  I guess we will find out in due course!
