Out of commission

The Blaise Communitty garden had 3 of these huge boiler houses built, to use wood initially, to service the many greenhouses needed for feeding the big house. There was another separate one for the wash house with it's huge long troughs and the orangerie alonside. There must have been another one in the basement for the house for heating and hot water. A boy or someone would have had to keep these boilers fed and working all night.
