Feed the birds

And I do love feeding the birds!

Our neighbours are replacing some fence panels. The guys they contracted to do it were really nice and were intrigued by a tree stump we have that was riddled with these big larvae. So they then became food for the birds as I know they are bad news for the garden.

And another chilly swim this evening. The water temperature has dropped though - it was back down to 8 degrees and it felt freezing.

I popped into a friend’s house on the way back from the lake. It was meant to be literally a quick present drop but she had time and instead we talked and ate cake for a very very long time. Big smile.
