Fine Day Oot da Window

Raining first thing, cleared into a sunny day, with showers passing over, cold and gales.

Up early, a morning around the house, before setting off for another late shift in the airport.  Mostly a day working on the check-in desk.  A few delays caused by the wind this morning, but we soon caught up.  Walkies with Sammy, then feet up. 

I was expecting a much wetter day today, a fine surprise to see quite a bit of blue skies and sunshine.  Don't let the sunny look fool you, it was baltic when outside, that wind drove right through me.  Sitting indoors, heaters on and a cuppa in hand, you'd almost say it was summer, when looking out the window.  Taken from the 2nd floor lounge, Sumburgh Airport.
