Inspired
I heard ‘Vincent’ on Youtube and looked up the chords. I’ve always loved this song so I might try and learn. I’m not sure whether to use the tenor uke or the baritone so I’ll give them both a try.
I haven’t played much lately so my fingertips have gone a bit soft.
This evening I went with our art group first for a meal at The Harts Head in Giggleswick and then to Settle Victoria Hall to see a film
called Monet to Matisse. It was a documentary about famous artists who painted their gardens and who actually planted their gardens with their future paintings in mind It was really interesting and seeing all the different paintings made me want to paint some flowers and fill our garden with such beauty - though our garden would be a postage stamp compared to Monet’s!
The only criticism I would have is that the film was a bit too long 90 minutes and I think half that time would have been enough, also it was cold there and I got a numb bum from sitting for so long.
So today I have been inspired by art, music and gardening.
Now I’m off to bed, I may only manage to read 2 pages as I’m so tired.
Goodnight ;-)X
PS Sabrina’s cat Susie has been missing for 3 days so the extra is of posters she has printed put.
They are all so upset and losing hope. She used to go to an elderly woman’s house but the woman died a while ago, It does makes us wonder if she’s gone to someone else’s house. :-(
