Win win !!

A successful day. Lots of things done, but the major ones were a trip to the vets for Olive to complete her vaccinations and have a blood test. I took her along for 5.30 and met up with S after work so that he could update  her past medical history whilst in Canada. She was such a good girl, no barking or messing about. She had been starved for 14hrs for the blood test and devoured the biscuits that I had taken for treats. 

The other achievement was getting rid of a trug of ‘top soil’. Actually clay, stones and rubble. It was left behind after our garden works were done. I haven’t been able to move it, but today I asked one of the landscapers if he could help me. They are not supposed to get involved, but he came to look, was very complementary about my gardening achievements and got rid of it. As he said ‘I had asked so nicely’  and had a challenge on my hands, so was willing to help. Job done!!!! I can still ask nicely and smile, play the charming old lady :0))))
