Late Afternoon Lock, Allington

This afternoon we headed for a late afternoon pint at The Malta Inn which sits right on the River Medway next to Allington Lock. It was very quiet and as we looked out of one of the big panoramic windows overlooking the river we saw a man drinking his pint of Guinness with his rather gorgeously scruffy black and whit dog. Unfortunately, we were a bit too far away to capture the monochromatic view of the pair so I took a shot of the lock instead. I had to take today's image with my brother's camera as I'd forgotten mine!
