Tiger Tiger.........

We have three cats in our household . Two of them are what our veterinary son would call short haired domestic . The third is a Bengal tiger. A most beautiful sleek beast .....
made of bronze !
We were backpacking in South India a few years ago and were staying in Periyar when we came across this beautiful tiger.Big dad loved it but decided it was just for show outside the shop.Besides , it was a bit big and heavy to fit into the rucksack so we went off on our travels again. He always hankered after the tiger and imagine his surprise and delight when he found (???same) tiger outside the shop. Needless to say he succumbed to its charms and after much haggling and tea drinking he bought it. It always makes us smile to look at it and reminds us of some lovely times we have had in that country.
