Lunch with a view

No Pilates today so my friend suggested we met in Saltaire for lunch. A no brainer you would think but a lot of places in Saltaire are not open on Monday and Tuesday including Salt’s Mill, but the Boathouse is open and we had a very nice lunch.

The forecast wasn’t particularly good and there were very dark clouds in all directions but  the sun was also shining so we concluded our afternoon with a walk around Roberts Park, past The Half Moon cafe which you can see in this view across the River Aire.

Behind the cafe is the Leeds Liverpool canal, but this stretch of the canal tow path is currently being renovated so not available for a walk. Maybe next time.
