Tynemouth

Took the opportunity to go and see the sea. We got the Metro to Tynemouth, had a look at the Sunday Market and then strolled round the coast to the Fish Quay at North Shields. Finding the seafood in short supply (we'd had the hotel Full English and so we weren't quite ready for fish and chips just yet), we walked back for a sandwich in Tynemouth instead and followed it up with cake in Cullercoats before getting the Metro back to town for our train home...
