Daffodil rescue

I was pleased to see this vigorous bunch of daffs on the table when I went over to Mum’s to be with her during a medical appointment.  She said they’d rescued them from beside the road where they’d been battered flat and broken.  Flattened by the wind and rain I suspect so it was good to see them scooped up and in a vase.

Soup for lunch, two lots from the weekend mixed together, delicious, walked a bit in windy sunshine (but no rain, hurrah!) and then an afternoon in the barn office watching cuts.

Lance came over to look at doing a job.  We ended up having supper early enough to watch a film from the BAFTA screeners which are still online for a few more days and picked American Fiction which is very good, funny with a tremendous performance from Geoffrey Wright.  Recommend.
