Great legs

Not the warmest of days, cloudy on and off, with a stiff breeze.

We walked along the promenade and onto the beach, which stretches for miles, watching solitary egrets fishing along the shore, and looking carefully we saw a couple of common sandpipers and a single curlew.

After lunch we walked the other way along the promenade and then spent a couple of hours enjoying some much needed sunshine sitting by one of the pools, reading and dozing.

Five miles walked today.

Apperetifs and dinner with friends, followed by the hotel’s nightly entertainment.
