Newest plaque

Nice and shiny new plaque but worthwhile all the same. They contributed a great deal to industry in the north-east. While I'm not sure but it feels plausible that having pioneering turbine generator manufacturer (Parsons) nearby was supportive in their work. The company they founded lasted nearly 100 years and is still going but was absorbed by Parsons Brinckerhoff
