A bit of brightness

Back to my course after a week off due to half term. The subject today was War and Medicine - looking at some of the advancements in medicine due to the horrific injuries sustained during conflicts in the 19th and 20th centuries. A visit to the optician this morning where I was parted from a considerable amount of money as I needed new lenses and frames. The good news was the my eye health was excellent for my age.
