Blackthorn

We drove across to spend the day with Jeremy and Mikki. There was masses of traffic everywhere, partly because of the roadworks on the A3/M25 junction. But there was nothing to spoil my view of the blackthorn lining the Guildford by-pass. We saw plenty of daffodils too.
We had a good day with a good Sunday lunch. We enjoyed hearing all their family news and their holiday plans. I was nagged to do my exercises more regularly. We enjoyed the company of their little cat Jessie. We had a horrendous drive home with rain and traffic. It was worth it, to see our precious family, but it is good to be home.
