Still life

It is pouring with rain today and I have just come back from Costco where I bought some black (skinned) apricots. I have never seen black apricots before so had to try them. They are quite delicious!
Then I thought of doing a still life with them but they looked boring on their own, , so added the orange and limes for contrast. I am not at all 'arty' so hope you think it worked? Helpful hints for improvement are welcome!
