Butterfly and Shadow

Most of us were watching this butterfly walking along the floor of the church during our morning service today.  It was far too cold for it and there were no flowers outside for it anyway.  After the service had finished I put it on the bench in the porch outside the church door.

Spring must be coming because Mark noticed a heron flying above the garden today - probably checking to see if the frogs have been visiting our pond yet.  The decoy heron is now in place.
