Waiting for the blossom
There were only four of us available to ring this morning. We nevertheless rang for half an hour just to let the village know that we have not disappeared. Afterwards we went for a meal with friends and parked next to the peach orchard. I expected to see a little blossom as I have seen some elsewhere but the trees are still bare. That is a good thing as any late frosts would be very damaging. I returned home to watch the rugby in which Italy earned a deserved draw and could have won with the final kick of the match. That would have been their first victory in the Six Nations tournament.
