It's been a few weeks since Minty and I walked down the farm track that leads to the quarry field gate, so it was quite a surprise to see a large patch of ground in this field has been cleared and some digging done.

I wonder if I'll be here long enough to see the end result...   (This job is due to finish in 4.5 weeks.)

The snow-covered mountains in the distance indicate a drop in the temperature, but it still felt like a spring day.
