We had a lovely walk along by the river on an accessible path through the farndale estate, nonetheless I was pleased I was wearing my wellies. we were a few weeks previous for the great daffodil show but the sound of bird song and the gurgling of the nearby water was very pleasant. We had lunch at the Feversham Arms, Church houses then returned on foot to Low Mill. We drove to a tearoom in pretty Rosedale for coffee and cake. I think this is a ridiculously beautiful part of Yorkshire. Just a pity the footpaths were too wet to enjoy exploring further on foot.
