Blossom

I was so in awe the other day of the lovely blossom on this tree I went back today to take a pic of it. My son used to live in the house you can see behind and to the right of it. This was at the bottom of his garden. Alas times changed and the owner wanted to sell it so they had to move. My youngest granddaughter Autumn was born in the bathroom.

Nice walk this morning a very pleasant day. funny though because this mornings walk usually includes avoiding joggers, walkers and other dog walkers, who we have become acquainted with, but today not a single person was to be seen on the whole of the walk only the occasional passing car.

Kirsty called today with my birthday present, 3 lovely aprons and Dove shower jells, as she will be in the office tomorrow, they have to go in once a week, otherwise she  works from home.
I will blip them and cards tomorrow on my birthday I can't believe I will be 83 tomorrow.

Off to watch more Rugby France v Spain  and indulge in custard filled doughnuts.

Easy tea Veg Hot Pot  leftover from Friday. and either Ice cream or peaches for afters. (or both)

My Californian Lilac bush, ceanothus, seems to have died, it's an evergreen and I noticed the other day all the leaves are brown and dead looking.  I did read they can suffer from too much wet ground and the garden is rather soggy at the moment. Mind you I have had it for many years so maybe it's at the end of it's life span.
