I think people deserve to have been paid to take these books. 
Very old and shabby, not in a charming vintage or antiquarian way, but in a rubbish way.
It's interesting, and sad, to witness the demise of the book.
I know all you blippers will tell me I'm wrong and that you read a lot, but you're in the minority.
