Tatio Geysers

Info about the Geysers here

We had a 4am start and a very bumpy minibus journey to get to these Geysers.

They were beautiful especially as we were there for sunrise. It was so cold though. Thy are the highest geothermal field in the world and at sunrise a height of 4320m is really chilly! There was frost on the ground. Considering we are in the driest desert it was quite spectacular.

After that we saw guanaco and flamingo, and this evening we found a nice bar that did the best pisco sour rica-rica so far.

Tomorrow we fly again. Watch this space...
