Fine dining

A good friend of ours is 65 today and we were invited to a surprise ‘fine dining’ at The Wolseley in Piccadilly.

So a bit of frantic rushing around to get back in time from work to change etc etc and then an easy journey into London and to the restaurant. There were 9 of us in a private dining room so it was quite special.
The service and the food was top tier.

Elbows had thought about a table game for us to play and it took us more or less the whole evening but it worked and brought lots of laughs.

And whilst we were well out of the way, WelshMan was cooking for Dot.T and 13 friends for a birthday celebration in our house. From what I gathered on return and from this morning as some guests stayed over, it was a brilliant fun evening with amazing food (unsurprisingly!).

They did an amazing clearing up job. :-))
