Ortolan

I went in to work first thing to help out - they were short-staffed and I know from experience that that's no fun at all for the overnight person. So, three hours of paid employment and then bussed it up to The Cameo for the 11.15am screening of The Taste Of Things. Now I didn't have particularly high hopes (and, indeed, my partner who I was seeing it with....she absolutely hated it!) but I was really quite taken with the whole thing. I'll say no more but I really did surprise myself.

The Student from The West arrived back mid-afternoon to see us so I got busy in the kitchen and we had a big family tea with plenty of chat and catch-up.
