Clouds

It was lovely to see some blue sky today. The sun illuminated the field on the right waiting for the Spring turnout of cows, then scudded over to the left to illuminate the early flowering prunus.

I tidied up the herbaceous border, which is full of green shoots, and baked a Dorset Apple Cake - a nice way to spend a Saturday morning. There's now a chicken roasting in the oven and filling the house with delicious smells :-)
