Introducing "Gabby" .....

..... who is a very young mum.

Gabby (named after the pop singer Gabrielle), is a 1 year old female who recently delivered 5 kittens. Unfortunately, 2 have since died but she seems to be successfully feeding the remaining 3.

We first saw Gabby's mum 3 years ago when staying here in Mallorca and then last year Gabby turned up as an extremely small 12 week old kitten. You may have noticed that she is totally blind in her left eye, which seems to be a congenital condition as her mum was also blind in the same eye.

She has been "visiting"us since we have arrived and this morning was waiting for me when I got up (ok, I admit it we've been feeding her)! Although she is obviously part ferral, this morning she let me stroke her and actually purred ....

I'm so enjoying this holiday!!!!!
