Nature Diary.. Seaside Magnolia

After a morning of rain we were finally treated to a late afternoon of beautiful sunshine for a couple of hours.
The nearby Magnolia bush is looking more magnificent than ever this year, and is completely covered with large healthy-looking buds. 
And the grey of the sea has been temporarily transformed by the sunshine into a gorgeous deep blue.
A welcome difference after so many days of almost non-stop rain and permanent greyness.
