Whiskey, lens baby and mammogram
Whiskey tasting.
It was thoroughly enjoyable, fun and I learned heaps. I had the most comfy lounge seat but after my 3rd taster it wouldn't have mattered where I was seated (just kidding ;-)
I could become a big fan of single malt Scots whiskeys but like most things the ones I like the most were produced in limited quantities, about a zillion years old and cost the price of a decent Crumpler camera bag. All you Scottish blipper out there, enjoy and appreciate your single malts!
I drank electrolyte replacement drink before I left home and when I returned. No ill effects today. I was very conscious of work and of not compromising my body as it heals.
Lensbaby.
Work has booked me to go on a lensbaby course at the end of July. I'm keen and hopefully I'll be able to cope with sitting and standing by then. This afternoon I had my first play with the new toy. There is definitely a learning curve and I can see it has lots of potential for street blips. (Edit: I haven't mastered it yet!).
Mammogram.
Yes, that time again. Sitting in the waiting room part reminded me that next Thursday I fly to Auckland for Mum's big birthday. The mammogram didn't even register with me. It was a breeze.
Yay, it's the weekend. I'm looking forward to playing more with the lensbaby.
