A Walk In The Woods

Went on my morning walk came home and did some chores.

Went and visited friends this afternoon.  One of them has been fighting very hard for 10 years with various illnesses and now is receiving palliative care for cancer.  They have been married for 60 years and I have known them for at least 50 of those years.  He was disappointed I didn't bring him my spaghetti and meatballs but I told him I did one better with delicious homemade vegetable pasta soup and sourdough bread.  He was happy.  We had a wonderful visit and I'll be back again to see them.
