Ullswater

Bus to town, walk to station, train to Haymarket, mad rush to get connection (I think they held it a couple of minutes), train to Penrith where met by a friend whom I hadn't seen since before COVID.
Leisurely lunch and catch-up then drive by Ullswater before dropping me off to go to where I'm staying. It was sleeting when I arrived but the sun soon came out so I had a walk with the view in extras.
Now waiting for my other friend to arrive, it's getting a bit chilly so I'm going to attempt to light the fire
