A Happy but Sad day

Today I had my last haircut by the same lady who has been doing my hair for many years. She will be retiring and hopes to do some traveling to places she has always wanted to visit. It was sad for all her clients, but very happy for her. She is just a year younger than I was when I retired so I can truly be happy for her. The ladies in the shop had a nice party for her with the lovely cupcake cake, cookies and punch. They had also decorated. It was a very nice time. My appointment was in the morning, so I didn't have to be there as she worked with her last lady for the day. I have a feeling it could have been a bit sad. We will miss you Cheryl. Have a wonderful retirement.
