New Growth

I spent a considerable amount of time this morning preparing the next two weeks of Dossett boxes for my husband and myself.  
 
I had planned to plant some roses bushes, but managed to twist my knee somehow this morning. It has been raining, so not a good day for gardening.
 
I have sorted some photographs for the u3a photography group theme of “movement”. As I had a busy day yesterday, I decided a lazy afternoon was in order.
 
Today’s picture is of the new growth on one of our new trees, this one is a Victoria plum. Four of the six have green growth, the other two look as though they are not too far behind.
 
The temperature at noon today was eight degrees Celsius.
