Man Heaving Boulder

I did a drawing from my book of Muybridge photographic plates. The images are quite small, but I'm excited by the range of movements they show! Although they're generally separated according to sex: the men mostly fight, throw things or jump, while the women carry things around, dance or do washing activities.
