Whistling And Whinnying

It rained all day. :( I went to John Lewis in Welwyn Garden City and stopped off at the Tewinbury hide on the way back. The hide is in a very neglected condition. Nothing to see at first but I could hear whistling and whinnying.

A pair of little grebes appeared but they were very distant. That was the whinnying. Then a trio of teal showed, also a long way off. That was the whistling. The pair of tufted ducks didn't look like they were enjoying the rain.
