Lambhill Stables ...
... was once for horses pulling the barges on the Forth and Clyde Canal. Now a community run enterprise with a cafe and activities for locals. A sculpture of a Roman centurion marks the presence of the nearby Antonine Wall. Coal was once a major industry in the area and a memorial to the local Cadder Pit Disaster of 1913 is beside the stables.
There is also a community garden within which there is Rocket Man who is made from recycled material.
The whole complex lies on the edge of Possil Marsh Nature Reserve.
