Wet drive

Met Phil at the unit, he drove us to Bolton, picked the supposedly-fixed van up, Phil drove back home, I drove van to Herefordshire... 20 minutes down the road the supposedly-fixed door sensor started beeping again... But at least the power steering is sorted! 
Pleasant drive through Wales / Shropshire border scenery (extra) - and stopped for very muddy walk along the River Severn near Shrewsbury (Preston Montford, Alan!, I'm sure you've been there!) - until ROAD CLOSED on back roads round Leominster stopped me... but with cars coming through the other way, I risked it!! - and survived...
Nigel was in the street as I arrived, so he came in for a shared cider... 
Now the hard work of packing and cleaning... wish me luck!! Original plan was to come back again next week but Plan 37a now in force has me staying in Darlington next week, partly due to plenty of wine sold on the phone for a change (so will need to be got out)... and partly to counteract weariness...
