Ups and downs

Another wet and windy day, but I was pleased to see this flowering cherry tree covered in blossom. If it’s a sunny day and I get off the bus one stop earlier, I might be lucky enough to photograph some bumblebees in the blossom.
Not so happy to see the subject of the lower photo, the woodland around our local theatre has been badly affected by ash die-back disease, and a lot of beautiful old trees have needed to be felled. Sad to see, but necessary.
