Candlestick

This is a back Blip from the last time we had a sunny day.  It is sunny today after heavy overnight rain and I had planned to go out.  However, after yesterday I decided to give that a miss as I felt so sleepy.  The after effects of the sedation.
This is called the Candlestick and was the vent for the William Pit I mentioned yesterday.  To the left is the top of Jonathon Swift's house.  You may remember when I Blipped this house that it is still occupied by an 87 year old man!  His son has been trying to persuade him to leave and live close to him, but the 87 year old is independent!  This area has been upgraded.  It also provides good views over Whitehaven harbour and town.
