A Grand Day Out

What a lovely afternoon I had today.

I went on a tour of Cairn o Mhor winery. Very interesting.....and THEN we got to taste the wine.

We tasted 9 "flat" wines. We like Very Berry the best. You have to bear in mind that that this wine is mostly 13%.

And THEN we went into the shop and had taste of a few sparkling wines, AND another couple that weren't in the tasting room.

We also made our purchases as you can see. I have 2 bags because I bought some for my dad's birthday...honestly.

Thank you to Tracy, Karon and Mike for their company. Especially Mike as he was the designated driver and was suitably sober to take the photo.

I just came home and cosied in to Ruby when I got home.
