Sitting Pretty

A fun filled busy day. There is so much to do at the moment, mostly in the garden! Lots of dead heading and watering, squashing of greenfly and weeding. Oh, and lots of grass cutting too. Mike has taken a few days holiday and has been rigging up a pump for the pond, which we've stocked with some aquatic plants. It's looking really nice and established now, and there are always birds down at the water's edge.

I have given Ollie a thorough trim and gone over his coat with my new thinning scissors and he is looking much smarter. Didn't stop one of our neighbours mistaking him for a sheep when he walked past though!

This evening I enjoyed a chat and a glass of wine with visiting neighbours and had a very cute shot of their dog ready to blip but then the setting sun lighted on Aida and I couldn't resist!
