Bye bye Coll

Today I let Coll after a six day stay, and flew out on the Hebridean Airways Islander flight to Oban. I was lucky enough to be sat next to the pilot upfront in the P2 position and had an unrivalled view of take-off and landing, but also the scenery of Coll and Mull. In a quick 22 minutes it was all over and I was slowly adjusting to mainland life again. Then from Oban I took the train to Glasgow and a BA Airbus back to Heathrow and the daily routine from tomorrow.

The ferry is visible at the pier, also departing for Oban, but taking considerably longer and just missing the train connection by 4 minutes. Oh the joys of transport in Britain!
