Thistle

I'm always drawn to Thistles, I think I've said this before!
I was out in the field picking elderflowers to make cordial. The field has a lot of thistles that the cows carefully avoid. The bees just love them. I was taken with the variety of colour in the flowers. Some were deepest plum, others magenta, even white. This one really took my eye, white with a pink touch to the tips of the petals. Owwwww!
