Iron and glass

I found myself at Bury Knowle House today - an elegant 1800 building in Bury Knowle Park that houses Headington public library. This photo started out as a picture of the surprising shadows behind the iron staircase that leads to the library's reading room but when I got home I realised that it was also a picture of the way the room's three walls of windows play with the trees.

I'm a bit preoccupied with windows just at the moment. This backblip shows why.
