Banished daffodils

S bought a bunch of daffodils for the house.  I had to move them last night as they began to open out  in the vase on the window ledge behind my chair. They make me sneeze. 
This morning the scent was very intense and even S started sneezing. After working on the laptop close to the daffodils this afternoon, S took the decision that they needed to be evicted from the house. They are now in the front porch. They look lovely but in a houseful of allergy sufferers, they just can't stay.  I think we need to stick to tulips!
