Sweet Chestnut

I do like this stuff. This is just slightly over 3" diameter - finished with Tung Oil. 
The other piece I finished (in the same way) is this box. 
Apart from doing these, I have spent time trying to get my head round the new layouts on stuff on the new laptop. I am getting there but it is going to take some time.

I had a wander up to the local chemist this afternoon to hand in some out of date medicines and to find out if they do a prescription pick-up from the surgery (they have changed hands recently). Not only do they do that - they have a system whereby you can pick up your stuff in the middle of the night if that suits you.
